The Opportunity

As a Solutions Architect focused on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), you will be the go-to technical expert responsible for defining, optimizing, and guiding our ERP architecture. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external ISVs to deliver integrated, scalable, secure, and forward-thinking solutions that power critical business processes and support WD-40’s global growth.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of WD-40’s ERP ecosystem, designing scalable and secure architecture that meets business needs and embraces the full power of Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Serve as the bridge between business vision and technical execution, aligning D365 platform capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Lead end-to-end architectural planning, including data flow, integrations (Salesforce, Atlas, etc.), and system connectivity.
  • Partner with functional experts, developers, and business leaders to analyze requirements and guide solution design.
  • Guide integration of third-party ISVs, ensuring seamless alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation, including code reviews, design standards, and governance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating new features and managing platform upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, acting as the highest-level escalation point across systems.
  • Champion best practices in system performance, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in ERP architecture, design, development, and optimization.
  • 5+ years of hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including ISV integrations and enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Solid understanding of multi-system data flows in complex, global environments.
  • Proven success translating business requirements into technical strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
  • Enterprise Architecture certifications (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
  • A builder’s mindset: strategic, hands-on, and solution-oriented.
