Are you passionate about finding top talent and marketing employer brands?

We are seeking a Talent & Employer Branding Specialist to be instrumental in showcasing WD-40 Company’s culture and attracting future top talent.

 

You will be responsible for independently executing talent acquisition and employer branding plans and activities in collaboration with local HR partners. With a focus on hiring both organically and through active sourcing, the right candidate would be able to build excellent relationships & deliver a full end to end recruitment process.

You will also be creative with hiring campaigns and content creation for our digital platforms; supporting the cultivation of WD-40 Company’s Employer brand in Europe.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain a competitive advantage gained by attracting and selecting desirable talent for the organization's current and future needs in support of company strategies and objectives.
  • Implements and maintains appropriate regionalized talent acquisition strategies, activities and metrics through careful analysis of trends, the talent markets, and business needs in alignment with global strategies.
  • Source, attract, screen and assess candidates for open positions in UK & Ireland and/or support and guide local HR partners in the process.
  • Develop and coordinate the efforts of others in the creation of a robust talent pipeline in Europe through managing the WD-40 Company careers site in Europe in collaboration with the wider HR team in EIMEA and supporting global employer brand initiatives.
  • Champion development and maintenance of employment branding activities on all relevant platforms to include digital/social media, with attention to local requirements and talent segmentation, to amplify the Company’s employment brand.
  • Support recruitment scheduling, candidate evaluation, candidate communication, employment offers and document management.
  • Responsible for the application, delivery and maintenance of talent acquisition methods and candidate evaluation tools, including applicant tracking systems and pipeline development, and our “core query” behavioural-based evaluation methodology.
  • Conduct, facilitate and guide leaders on effective interview and selection planning and techniques as well as best practices in negotiating and closing strategies. Apply the content-valid approach to measure candidates’ ability to perform competently within the scope of the position. Create and champion the optimal candidate experience.
  • Manage employer brand and implement brand plans within brand guidelines, and analyze and report on employer brand effectiveness to the business.
  • Guide local markets to ensure the right channel and communication are used to represent the employer branding.
  • Content Creation: Write drafts and edit content in line with organizational style guidelines to format and publish information on websites and in print.
  • Manages WD-40 Company career website analytics and social media optimization to maintain visibility to prospective candidate segments.

Qualifications

  • Ongoing professional education in the field of talent acquisition, HR, business, digital, communication or related subjects.
  • Formal education or knowledge equivalent to Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, psychology, or communications, or related field, preferred
  • 3+ years demonstrated contributions across all HR functional areas.
  • Similar tasks and duties of this position, for a time period sufficient to indicate the ability to work within strategic guidance while accomplishing objectives.
  • Require proficiency in spoken and written English.
